A Borrowed City

米兰 — a city seen in the margins of a work trip Milan · 2026
A tilted, long-exposure view of a Milan street — movement resolved into stillness.

I didn't go to Milan to photograph. I went for work — and only caught the city in the margins: between meetings, glancing up, in the hours after dark. The blur isn't a style. It's the shape of passing through.

Looking Up

The glass vault of the Galleria seen from below. The spires of the Duomo framed through an arch. Sunlit Milanese facades seen looking upward. An ornate building rising into the sky.

Borrowed Monuments

Inside the Galleria, figures under golden light. A figure glimpsed through a lit shop window. A stone soldier seen through a closed gate. A quiet corner of an old Milan street.

After Hours

The Duomo at night, the piazza glowing. A figure in orange light through blue rain and bokeh. Warm windows of an apartment block at blue hour.
